Welcome to my site!!
Since Fall 2011 I am a with the Faculty of Finance, Cass Business School, City University, London. My research involves various elements of empirical economics, primarily economics of banking.
In December 2009 I was included in the list of IDEAS with the top 100 young economists in the world (click). I try to be a good instructor and in 2010 I was given an average rating of 4.65/5 for my performance in teaching. In general, I advice my students to remember Woody Allen's words: "Students achieving oneness will move to twoness."
As you probably know Greece went bankrupt in 2010 (yes we failed, others simply decided to save us!). So being a Greek economist is not very flattering. Anyways, I must agree with Albert who said that "The most difficult thing in the world to understand is the income tax" and with Alfred Knopf who suggested that "Economists state the obvious in terms of the incomprehensible."
